The company “Hofmann Consult” was established in Cologne in 1992 as a consulting firm for German companies in the field of mechanical engineering for the Bulgarian market.
Foundation of the company Hofmann Consult in Cologne, as a consultant company for German businesses in the machanical engineering industry on the Bulgarian market. Mrs. Dipl.-Ing. Diana Hofmann leads the company´s fortunes.

After more than a year of construction work the 800 m² large company building was inaugurated in April 2003 in one of the most modern industrial areas of Sofia.With this investment, we are able to offer products and services. In addition to a highly specialized workshop, the company building includes appropriate exhibition, room for seminars and a large storage space for the diversified product range This new investment consolidates the leading market position of Hofmann Consult and establishes it as a system supplier with most modern technology and optimized sales organization.
Investment in a highly modern technology center for the production, re-sharpening and PVD coating of standard and non-standard HM and HSS tools.The 5-axis tool grinding machines of the company Schütte, , additional PVD coating with OERLIKON technology and erosion technology from MITSUBISHI Electrics, together with the best equipped measuring laboratory for measuring of the geometry, hardness Rc and coating thickness as well as the experienced and motivated staff guarantee the highest quality of production.The Company Hofmann Consult is certifed with ISO 9001 certification.
Expansion of production and storage space and investment in additional machinery
Installation of photovoltaic modules with a capacity of 73 kWh and investment in new: 5-axis robotized grinding machine Schütte S335 Linear; second OERLIKON BALZERS machine for PVD coatings with the ability to apply the innovative TAC (Tetrahedral Amorphous Carbon) coating, which is particularly suitable for tools processing non-ferrous metals.
